Science Students Need You . . .

Annually during the month of April, the Nebraska Junior Academy of Sciences (NJAS) hosts the State Science and Engineering Competition.  Some of Nebraska’s brightest young researchers will assemble from six in-state regions to participate in this annual competition. Our hope is that you are available to take part as a member of our team of judges. If not you, maybe you know of a science professional who will find this experience rewarding and of value. Students who have research projects that rank among the top ten in the senior division will be invited to attend the American Junior Academy of Sciences (AJAS) and present their papers at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) meetings. The meeting will convene annually during February.

Make a Difference . . .

Our young scientists participating in this competition are looking forward to feedback from you. Without the participation and assistance of professionals like you, it would be impossible to hold this competition and encourage our young scientists to continue to be involved in scientific research.

Competition Date: Thursday, April 18, 2024
